This umbrella looks pretty. I would have liked a heavier handle but this will do.Pretty umbrella but very hard open/close.It’s heavy and too large for travel.The first 2 times I tried to open this, the last hinge on the "outermost" part of the umbrella inverted inward, creating an umbrella cup. Although I finally got umbrella to open correctly, I've lost confidence that I can depend on the thing to properly operate in the rain. On top of that, the thing is very hard to close; you literally have to grab with both hands and push the ends towards each other. Don't see myself getting much use out of this, but to return it requires dealing with the seller, rather than Amazon, and it seems to be too much of a hassle. The print (Magnolia) was nice.I like this umbrella... unfortunately, I spent a LONG TIME trying to decide between the various designs. FINALLY decided on the "street scene," just as the picture depicts. How STRANGE, bcuz what came was the "irises." Well, they are fine, but I did order the street scene! This was a present, and it's already given. But I'm a bit disappointed.I have only used the umbrella once or twice and it flips up (like inverted) when opened. When you close it it inverts again. It is very, very hard to close. Maybe I just got a defective one. I loved the print of the umbrella; wish I could use it :(This umbrella with a Starry Night motif is very pretty.Love it. Very pretty... It expands and retracts with the touch of a button !it opens up upside down n you have to put each section down n u get drenched by the time u do this i hate this umbrella n paid too much
