The Pro-Lite Smuggler Surfboard Travel Bag 1+1=3: The Smuggler Series surfboard travel bag is the perfect chance to save some money on your next trip. This bag was designed to hold 3 boards, but only show 2 when opened for that pre-flight check. A false bottom allows one board to always be hidden either way the bag is opened. Easy to Use Two Point Entry System On Nose and Tail The Pro-Lite Smugger Series travel bag has an easy to use two-point entry system. Use the top zip flip top opening on the tail of the bag to insert the first two surfboards and close. Then open the entry point under the nose of the bag and insert the third surfboard tail first. Once all three boards are in the bag it will be showing two boards in the tail opening and two boards in the nose opening with a false bottom on either side of the bag hiding the third. I add plenty of bubble wrap on the inside as well, but I haven't had a single ding using this bag and have had it on about 8 plane rides. No connections, all direct flights, but no dings is a big win with the surf boards ! Useful pockets, sturdy - not a tear on it. This is built to do its job and I must say a big well done. I love anything that is over-engineered and this one does it without being heavy at all. Fantastic !Just got back from flying with 3 boards in this 6'3" bag. 1 board no fins, I board with fins, and I boogie board for my youngest. Even threw some extra padding in just for good measure and it fit like a glove. No damage to boards, heavy duty zippers, plenty of space in outside pockets for leashes, wax etc. shoulder carry strap is great and comfortable. I had a full load but if you're only carrying 2 boards the bag has Velcro cinching mechanisms on the back and side to compress the depth and heighth of the bag.So far its smuggling successfully.3 boards through a few flights only getting charged for 2.Got to stick it to the airlines when you can, which should be all the time.Excellent quality. Lots of padding throughout. Just add a couple towels or bubble wrap or air conditioning insulating foam for the rails, and your boards will be in good shape.*don't quote me on that.**knock on wood...Solid bag and very well built. I flew two boards from California to Guam. A 6' 3" and a 6'. Both both arrived in perfect condition. The bag is quite heavy and provides a very reasonable amount of protection. If your boards get damaged in this bag it was because of the airport bag handler not the quality of this bag!Works well, boards fit nicely.This bag is greatThis bag is awful at best, the bag ripped on the first trip and does not fit three boards. I was super pumped when I read about this bag and ordered it. The truth is I could barely fit two. My boards arrived with holes and dings. I wrapped them but to no avail. The Kelly slater bag was so much better and fit what it said it would. My boards came ding free. The only reason I got rid of it was bed bugs on be last trip. My travel buddy brought the same prolite bag as mine and couldn’t fit three boards either. We had mutiable conversations about how disappointed we were. On a better note ten stellar days of amazing surf!!!!
