This pillow is constructed of a non-allergenic, non-toxic foam that will not lose its shape or resilience. Because people sleep on their backs, sides, or both, this pillow was created to work for each sleeping position. The ergonomic design offers comfortable support and stability in all sleeping postures. This results in a sounder sleep and less tendency to wake with pain, stiffness and many of the symptoms resulting from lack of support. Available in three sizes for a custom fit. Comes with a free-fitted zippered pillow cover made of a polyester/cotton blend, and is machine washable. NOTE: Sizing can be tricky with this product because you need to measure for proper size, but also take into consideration the firmness of your mattress and how much you sink into it. It may be helpful to select a smaller size than you measure for if you have a soft bed. I absolutely LOVE my full-size Therapeutica pillow so I wanted to get this travel version of the pillow. My Therapeutica pillow at home for every night use is size Petite so I ordered the Petite travel size pillow. The travel pillow version is definitely not as comfortable as the full-size pillow, which I expected. For me (size Petite), the travel pillow doesn't have as much neck support when laying on my back and it doesn't seem to "cradle" my head like the full-size pillow does. The indentation for the head seems more shallow. Flipping the pillow over for a side sleeping position is a little annoying. I am constantly changing my sleeping positions from my sides to my back throughout the night so it is not as convenient as the full-size Therapeutica pillow. But I can't expect it to be the same. It is still much better that not having it at all and having to sleep on a traditional stuffed pillow. Just don't expect it to be as amazing as the full-size Therapeutica pillow, but it is still a must have for traveling!
