I'm using this for a 2pc kayak paddle bag when flying. Tho I also snowboard so I can give some insight on that as well.This thing is killer for a 2pc paddle bag when flying. I can easily with 2x 2pc 200cm whitewater paddles and allllll my gear. It will fit upto 130cm symmetrical sections so a 260cm paddle. With the 3 external pockets and some room inside with the paddles its easy to fit: drysuit, helmet, 2x sprayskirts, booties, pfd, throw rope, 2x 2pc paddles securely, some thermal layers and spare cloths. My only hesitation, and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is the zippers don't seem very heavy duty, and I have little faith they will survive much banging around.As far as snowboards.. you could fit a 130cm kids board.. maayybe a 135, but the edges will cut the interior to shreds and soon after the exterior. It's very thin coated non-ripstop nylon. And best guess is the exterior is 600d cordura. It's fantastic for my uses, but the metal edges of a snowboard will destroy it quickly.
