I ordered the Rothco vest after searching the internet and finding several styles of vest, most designed for fishing, photography or other activities. Two brands seemed to be best for travel with a smooth exterior and multiple interior pockets for items needed when on the road or going about daily activities. The highly rated more expensive vest had multiple reviews complaining about zipper malfunction and too thin fabric. I therefore ordered the Rothco large ( I am short and rotund) and found it snug with a long sleeve sweat shirt. I then ordered the extra large, which fit fine. I ended up keeping both because the large worked great with a polo for summer travel and the extra large is great with a thicker long sleeve shirt. I have used them for travel and daily activities and everything works perfectly. Also, the two vests cost less than one of the more expensive model.
